These Easy Sage Roasted Turkey Legs are perfect for a weeknight meal. Quick, easy, delicious and healthy for the whole family. Turkey isn't just for Thanksgiving anymore!
  • 2 Large Turkey Legs
  • 1 Tablespoon melted Coconut Oil or Butter
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 4 Teaspoons Fresh Sage,
  • ½ Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 375*
  2. To make the easy sage roasted turkey legs in a small bowl combine the salt, pepper and sage making a rub. Brush the turkey leg with the melted Coconut Oil and generously season them with the herb rub mixture using all of it.
  3. Place the turkey legs in a shallow dish. I lined mine with parchment paper to make cleanup a breeze! Cover the dish with foil paper and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil paper and continue to bake in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 165* and the skin is golden and crispy (about 20 minuets). Remove from the oven and baste the turkey legs with the sage drippings then serve.
