Grilled Philly Cheese Steak Nachos perfectly grilled steak with a creamy garlicy cheesy sauce, sweetness from the sautéed onions with fresh peppers make this the perfect game day recipe!
  • 8 oz Steak, grilled and chopped into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 medium Red Onion, diced
  • ½ Green Pepper, chopped
  • ½ Red Pepper, chopped
  • 1 bag of your favorite corn tortilla chips
  • 1 Cup Cream
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Cups Provolone or Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ½ Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  1. Pre-Heat Oven to 400*.
  2. In a cast iron pan or on a cookie sheet empty the bag of tortilla chips and set aside. Now we will get started on the wonderful garlic cream sauce. It's so good you are going to want to swim in it trust me.
  3. Using a microplane grate the garlic into a small sauce pan add the butter and olive oil. Heat on low until the garlic becomes fragrant. Then add the pepper and red pepper flakes to "wake" them up along with the onion and sauté until it becomes translucent about 4 min. Stir in the cream; cook until it begins to bubble.
  4. Next add the parmesan cheese while stirring. The mixture will start to thicken.
  5. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the nacho chips. Then add the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the chips.
  6. Next evenly sprinkle the diced steak, red and green peppers over the nacho chips. Place the pan into the oven and bake for 10-15 min or until the cheese is melted and gooey.
