Pre-heat the oven to 375* and grease a cast iron pan with 1 Tablespoon of the melted butter (if you have bacon grease lying around that’s even better). In a mixing bowl combine all of the dry ingredients so that everything is evenly combined. Next add all of the wet ingredients and stir together using a whisk until you remove all the lumps and the batter is smooth. Pour the cornbread batter into the cast iron skillet and bake in the oven about 20-25 min until slightly golden on top. Remove from the oven and drizzle extra honey on top then serve with butter if desired.
